What is the Internet? – Internet definition

Internet is a network, that interconnects all the different types of Electronic-devices. Generally, the internet is a worldwide system that allows to circulate information worldwide and to receive. More than 4.5 billion people have access to the Internet. The Internet has two major components, they are network protocols and hardware. Network protocols such as TCP and IP are a set of rules the device must complete the task to communicate with other devices.

The second is hardware. Hardware includes everything from computers, smartphones, smart devices, cellphone towers, radio, satellites, and cables that transmit information.

Many think the Internet and the World Wide Web are the same. But they are totally different from each other later below the post you will see the difference between the Internet and the World Wide Web.

How the Internet works

The father of Internet is Bob Khan and Vint Cerf, yes these two guys have invented the Internet. Recently I have seen a YouTube channel and the question they asked the public is who owns Internet?

I have found many crazy answers. Exactly no one owns the Internet or more accurately Every one owns the Internet, says Vint Cerf, the inventor of the Internet.

Internet mostly comes through Optical fibres. All over the world, 16 companies provides Tire 1 Internet that is these 16 companies interconnect from one country server to another. They connect from one country to another by laying optical fibres in the oceans. Once the companies laid the Tire 1 Internet connection, Tire 2 Internet providers separate the Internet from Tire 1 and give inside the country. And at last, Tire 3 Internet providers separate the Internet from Tire 2. And gives it locally to users either through optical fibre or through towers.
